Market stalls and craft fairs

- Can I work in the unit, or only store?
- Is power metered fairly? We charge at the supplier rate with no markup.
- What is the minimum term? Ours is one month.
- Are there extra fees or deposits for utilities? We have none.

The Rock Factory is at The Old Rock Factory, Keswick Road, off Park Road, Blackpool FY1 5PB, in central Blackpool. We are not based in Poulton and have no presence there.

Questions
Can I have clients visit me at the unit?
Yes. Tenants can receive clients and mail at the unit, and there is a shared tea and coffee room and toilets. All business use needs our prior approval.
Will my removals firm be able to deliver straight to the unit?
Yes, you can arrange for them to deliver to your unit. Roller-shutter units make large items easier, and all units are on the ground floor.
Can I have more than one unit if my business grows?
Some units have interconnecting doors, so you can rent two or three adjoining units, subject to availability.
Can I sell food from my market stock unit?
Dry, packaged goods can be stored, but cooking and hot food are not allowed in the units. Ask us on WhatsApp about anything else food-related before you sign up.
How much is the 180 sq ft unit per month?
It is £78 a week, which works out at about £338 a month (78 × 52 ÷ 12), with electricity charged separately at the supplier rate.
Is The Rock Factory in Poulton?
No. We are in central Blackpool, on Keswick Road off Park Road, FY1 5PB.
